When you're too cheap for even an electrical junction box, imitation Tupperware from the dollar store is the solution.
Unless, of course, you get sloppy drilling the holes for the pots and it cracks. Then duct tape comes to the rescue, and you're in possession of a truly stylish effect pedal. Can't call it a stompbox, since you're way too thrifty for a footswitch. Or any switch. I doubt I even need to mention the allure of Sharpie-penned labels for controls. And who the hell cares about knobs?
The circuit is a Gagan EasyFace. I recommend it as a more evolved version of the bare-bones Fuzz Face. Visit JD Sleep's site for the schematic.
