Dan Armstrong Red Ranger modifications
The Dan Armstrong Red Ranger was developed as a more versatile and less noisy alterative than the Electro-Harmonix LPB-1 (Linear Power Booster). A center-off DPDT switch provided three modes: Bass, Full, and Treble, with Full being the off position. The above schematic is an update to JD Sleep's version, adding a negative ground power supply and use of common transistors. Also, while testing the original schematic, the values of the filter resistors adjusted for a more unified output level.
